Features
The Philips Respironics DreamWear Fit Pack Mask is a hybrid CPAP mask designed to combine the benefits of a nasal mask and nasal pillows. The innovative design of the DreamWear mask provides users with greater freedom of movement and a more comfortable, unconstrained sleep experience.
The secret to DreamWear's success is its unconventional hybrid nasal mask/nasal pillow design. The DreamWear remains secured in position under the patient's nose like a traditional mask, but the seal with the patient's airway is more similar to a nasal pillow system. This minimal contact under the nasal cushion helps avoid the discomfort, irritation and red marks that patients may experience with more conventional CPAP masks. Unlike traditional nasal pillows or nasal masks, the tube does not extend to the front of the face. Instead, pressurized air flows from the nostrils through wide tubular channels located along the patient's cheekbones before twisting upward to end in the hose junction on the top of the head.
DreamWear users say (based on the Philips User Preferences Questionnaire) that DreamWear improves comfort and fit compared to their previous masks. Philips also claims that DreamWear users benefit from greater freedom of movement during the night. Freed from the tubes around their neck and face, DreamWear patients can change sleeping positions more easily, turning onto their stomach, side and back without fear of becoming entangled.

Special features and benefits
Innovative Soft Tube Frame - The DreamWear Nasal Mask's soft frame directs airflow through two silicone tubes that meet at the nasal cushion. As the frame is flexible, it adapts naturally to the contours of the face, without pinching or pressure points, and accommodates almost any sleeping position.
Freedom of movement - if you sleep on your back, the Respironics DreamWear distributes therapeutic air equally to both tubes. If you roll onto your side, the DreamWear's lower tube compresses to maintain a comfortable seal; Therapeutic air is channeled into the upper tube, allowing unrestricted airflow to be maintained at prescribed therapeutic levels. Go to sleep knowing you'll always get the therapy you need!
Unique Nasal Cushion - The Respironics DreamWear's nasal cushion is placed under the nose, allowing air to flow through both nostrils. Thanks to the low profile design of the cushion, there is absolutely no contact on the top of the nose or the sensitive nasal bridge. Exhalation ports located on the cushion and in the elbow of the mask discreetly disperse excess air.
Harness and Circuit Attachment (Optional): Soft harness with arm rests on the back of the head, stabilizing the mask without requiring over-tightening or excessive contact. The circuit elbow is located on top of the head, where it can rotate freely to help reduce drag.
Minimal Contact and Open Field of View - With a low-profile cushion, soft tubular frame, and single-strap harness, the DreamWear is one of the most minimal masks available, giving you an open field of view for reading, speaking or watch TV before bed.
Frame Sizes - The DreamWear frame comes in three sizes: small (19 inches), medium (20 inches), and large (22 inches). Most users will find the medium frame to be best suited; however, packs are available with other frame sizes for taller and shorter users. Frame and cushion sizes are interchangeable, so any frame size can be used with any cushion size.
Cushions - DreamWear nasal cushions are available in four sizes (small, medium, medium-large and large) to fit a wide range of customers and provide a good seal throughout the night.
Soft Wraps - Soft fabric wraps provide gentle contact on the patient's cheek and reduce the chance of waking up with red marks, discomfort or irritation from the harness straps.
